\nMarch 12th we celebrate Librarian’s Day in Brazil.<\/p>\n

It is always a festive day, with many actions across the country. Librarians motivated to work for more and better libraries, as well as promoting the continued learning of professionals.<\/p>\n

In this year – on March 2022 – the Brazilian Commission on Copyright and Open Access of the Brazilian Federation of Associations of Librarians, Information Scientists and Institutions (CBDA3\/FEBAB) held a webinar for the presentation of the \u201cGuide to libraries<\/a>: copyright and access knowledge, information and culture<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event was a success, with the participation of more than 150 participants simultaneously.<\/p>\n

This guide is to answer professionals about the many questions regarding the balance between the libraries’ mission and the guarantee of copyright. Thus, the content of the guide was built with day-to-day work questions from the Brazilian community of librarians that were sent to the Commission, and answered by it.<\/p>\n

The Guide is a fundamental instrument, helping with the uses and practices that can or should not be done by libraries. It gives them – the libraries – security, about compliance with copyright and the guarantee of access rights to information users, and thus they can fully fulfill their noble mission of promoting knowledge and culture.<\/p>\n

These actions, by CBDA3\/FEBAB, are contributing to goal 16.10 of SDG 16, \u201cEnsure public access to information and protect fundamental freedoms in accordance with national legislation and international agreements\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dia 12 de mar\u00e7o comemoramos o dia do bibliotec\u00e1rio, no Brasil<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c9 sempre um dia festivo, com muitas a\u00e7\u00f5es pelo pa\u00eds.\u00a0 Bibliotec\u00e1rios motivados por trabalhar por mais e melhores bibliotecas, bem como promover o aprendizado continuado dos profissionais.<\/p>\n

Neste ano de 2022, a Comiss\u00e3o Brasileira de Direitos de Autor e Acesso Aberto\u00a0da Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Associa\u00e7\u00f5es de Bibliotec\u00e1rios, Cientistas da Informa\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0e Institui\u00e7\u00f5es (CBDA3\/FEBAB) realizou um webinar<\/em> para o lan\u00e7amento do \u201cGuia para bibliotecas: direitos autorais e acesso ao conhecimento, informa\u00e7\u00e3o e cultura<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

O evento foi um sucesso, tendo a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de mais de 150 participantes simultaneamente.<\/p>\n

Este guia, \u00e9 para responder aos profissionais sobre as muitas d\u00favidas quanto ao equil\u00edbrio entre a miss\u00e3o das bibliotecas e a garantia do direito de autor. Assim, o conte\u00fado do guia, foi constru\u00eddo com quest\u00f5es de trabalho do dia a dia, da comunidade brasileira de bibliotec\u00e1rios que foram enviadas \u00e0 Comiss\u00e3o, e por ela respondidas.<\/p>\n

O Guia e um instrumento fundamental, no auxilio sobre os usos e pr\u00e1ticas que podem ou n\u00e3o devem ser feitos pelas bibliotecas. D\u00e1 a elas – as bibliotecas – a seguran\u00e7a, sobre o respeito aos direitos autorais e a garantia dos direitos de acesso \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o para os usu\u00e1rios, e assim podem cumprir plenamente sua nobre miss\u00e3o de promover o saber e a cultura.<\/p>\n

Estas a\u00e7\u00f5es, da CBDA3\/FEBAB, est\u00e3o contribuindo com a meta 16.10 do ODS 16, \u201cAssegurar o acesso p\u00fablico \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o e proteger as liberdades fundamentais em conformidade com a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o nacional e os acordos internacionais\u201d.<\/p>\n
