{"id":496,"date":"2014-12-15T18:54:10","date_gmt":"2014-12-15T17:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/literacy-reading\/?p=496"},"modified":"2014-12-15T18:54:10","modified_gmt":"2014-12-15T17:54:10","slug":"ecil-2015-conference-call-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/literacy-reading\/2014\/12\/15\/ecil-2015-conference-call-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"ECIL 2015 conference call for proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> The 3rd European Conference on Information Literacy (ECIL 2015), to be held from 19-22 October 2015, in Tallinn, Estonia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0In the Conference, additional to all aspects of Information Literacy (please visit the Conference website for a detailed list of topics &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/mail.csulb.edu\/owa\/redir.aspx?C=GRhc5z7slEyPqva1-STOFeYNw-8Y7NEIiIYQ7lBj3XTike1RFaiP5yErmpp8-pTKAL6YUIY7-2c.&amp;URL=http%3a%2f%2fecil2015.ilconf.org%2f\" target=\"_blank\"> http:\/\/ecil2015.ilconf.org\/<\/a>) the contribution of information literacy to the smart lifestyle and green society issues will be focused and explored. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">ECIL aims to bring together researchers, information professionals, media specialists, educators, environmentalists, sustainability experts, policy makers, employers and all other related parties from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience and discuss recent developments and current challenges in both theory and practice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The conference will be composed of several types of contributions, such as full papers, posters, PechaKucha (short presentations), best practices, workshops, panels, invited talks, doctoral forum; each has different requirements and restrictions regarding the length, time allocation and content.
