Being able to point to other sites or sources that talk about your work helps build credibility.<\/p>\n

It sends the message that it\u2019s normal for people to think that your library is important!<\/p>\n

But how to make this happen?<\/p>\n

Sometimes it\u2019s a case of getting a newspaper to write about what you\u2019re doing, or getting on TV or radio.<\/p>\n

But sometimes, you can do things directly.<\/p>\n

So for our 36th<\/sup> 10-Minute Library Exercise, get your work recognised.<\/p>\n

Find a site or platform where you can profile your work.<\/p>\n

In particular, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Action Week offers the possibility to put your actions on a map.<\/p>\n

Go to this page<\/a>, and add in what you are doing, for example, to raise awareness of or deliver the SDGs.<\/p>\n

And then use the profile created in your own daily advocacy work!<\/p>\n
