If you\u2019re working in a busy library, or providing library and information services in a wider organisation, it can be difficult to take a step back.<\/p>\n
There are so many issues to resolve locally, urgently, that you can easily lose sight of what is going on elsewhere in your town, city or country, let alone globally.<\/p>\n
But faced with challenges, it is empowering to know that you are part of a major and truly global network!<\/p>\n
There are millions of librarians and libraries out there, often dealing with similar issues.<\/p>\n
