Your colleagues from the IFLA Public Libraries Section are busily compiling the ultimate guide for Librarians <a href=\"https:\/\/1001libraries.wordpress.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=2&amp;action=edit&amp;message=1\"><em>1001 libraries to see before you die<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our online initiative aims to bring together best practice examples of public library buildings and spaces from around the world. It will also include links to relevant websites and other resources.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re asking our friends from around the world to nominate \u2018must see\u2019 libraries in their respective countries.\u00a0 You can nominate a library for a number of reasons \u2013 the library building, the location, the innovative programs or the community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>All you have to do is complete our form and email it to the IFLA Public Libraries Section together with a maximum of three images of the Library you\u2019re nominating.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re also looking for best practice examples of Library Building websites and guidelines to link to from our site.<\/p>\n<p>The project will be officially launched at <a href=\"http:\/\/conference.ifla.org\/ifla80\/node\/454\">IFLA in Lyon<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Planning a trip, want to visit some libraries but not sure where you should go?
