The library features versatile and distinct spaces to meet different user preferences and needs, enhancing the reading and learning experiences for all patrons.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Bird-Eye.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-943\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Bird-Eye-300x246.jpg\" alt=\"Bird-Eye\" width=\"300\" height=\"246\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Bird-Eye-300x246.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Bird-Eye.jpg 559w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is now the first mall library with dedicated spaces for teenagers that have been created by their peers from the Inspiring Readers Society (a name which the pioneer team of 39 members, aged between 13 and 19\u00a0collectively decided). The aim of the society is to encourage engagement in content discovery, reading and discussions with their peers while also creating a sense of ownership of the library spaces among the teens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/IRS.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-953\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/IRS-300x149.jpg\" alt=\"IRS\" width=\"300\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/IRS-300x149.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/IRS.jpg 623w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These teenagers will be co-creating video trailers that recommend books that they like, made available for viewing by other teens visitors at the Book Tree in the library.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Pic2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-945\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Pic2-300x173.jpg\" alt=\"Pic2\" width=\"300\" height=\"173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Pic2-300x173.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Pic2.jpg 559w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They will be organising regular Hangout Sessions in the Mezzanine, where the members will share with other teenagers about any topic relating to a recommended book.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Teens.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-946\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Teens-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Teens\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Teens-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/public-libraries\/files\/2015\/11\/Teens.jpg 622w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Teens and adults alike can interact with a Doodle Wall, where they can draw using their fingertips with the help of an interactive projector to facilitate live discussions through the use of visualisation.
