{"id":675,"date":"2020-06-01T17:43:53","date_gmt":"2020-06-01T15:43:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/school-libraries\/?p=675"},"modified":"2020-06-01T17:43:53","modified_gmt":"2020-06-01T15:43:53","slug":"apden-international-memberships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/school-libraries\/2020\/06\/01\/apden-international-memberships\/","title":{"rendered":"APDEN international memberships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n<p>APDEN \u2013 the national association of French <em>professeurs documentalistes<\/em> \u2013 is pleased to inform you that it is now possible for teachers in charge of a school library abroad to subscribe to our organization.<\/p>\n<p>The organization which was founded in 1972 and which is open to teachers in secondary schools as well as higher education is a place of reflection concerning our practice and also about the future of the profession.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Every third year, a congress of <em>professeurs documentalistes<\/em> is organised. The last one was held in Grenoble in october 2019 on the subject: \u201cPublishing on the web. A pedagogical and didactical tool for teacher librarians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Twice a year, APDEN also publishes the professional journal MEDIADOC\u00a0 which is devoted to the important issues that underline our profession. The aim is to publicize the <em>professeurs<\/em> <em>documentalistes<\/em> working\/teaching practises as well as scientific research (researchers, teacher training, doctors thesis) that feed the fields of education\u00a0 and the information and communication sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Each issue is centered on a theme that is built according to the current problems that cross the professional culture of the <em>professeurs<\/em> <em>documentalistes<\/em>. Various contributions and also texts concerning the international context are welcome within the pages<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The subscription includes participating in the mailing lists as well as the two\u00a0 Mediadoc issues for a year.<\/p>\n<p>The membership form is attached along with the different rates.
