{"id":75,"date":"2013-11-02T22:58:30","date_gmt":"2013-11-02T21:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/school-libraries\/?p=75"},"modified":"2013-11-02T22:58:30","modified_gmt":"2013-11-02T21:58:30","slug":"international-school-library-month-in-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ifla.org\/school-libraries\/2013\/11\/02\/international-school-library-month-in-india\/","title":{"rendered":"International School Library Month in India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International School Library day was celebrated in Pune, India, on the <b>21<sup>st<\/sup> October 2013<\/b> with a theme<b>\u201cSchoolLibraries : Doorways to Life\u201d.<\/b>\u00a0 The school has participated in the Book Mark Exchange Program \u00a0and the book marks will be exchanged with schools in USA &amp; Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>The Bookmark Exchange Project is a simple, fun way of sharing the pleasure and delights of books and libraries and of making new friends through school libraries worldwide.\u00a0\u00a0 Our students enjoyed making book marks and shared some messages like save the planet,\u00a0 save the earth, save the animals and aboutreading.\u00a0 What is being taught in the classroom as a unit is reflected on the book marks.\u00a0 A special thanks to those parents and teachers who spared time to participate in this project.
