Serials and Other Continuing Resources Section (SOCRS): Program in Columbus<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) \u00a0Section on Serials and Other Continuing Resources\u00a0<\/a> \u201cconcerns itself with all issues which make serial publications unique in both the print and electronic environments.\u201d We met twice during the 82nd<\/sup> World Library and Information Congress (WLIC). Working within the congress theme, \u201cConnections. Collaboration. Community,\u201d we organized Session 114, \u201cThe Role of Stakeholders in the New Serials World.\u201d Here follows a list of titles and authors of our guest speakers\u2019 presentations.     2. \u201cLibraries as Publishers: Building a Global Community:\u201d<\/a> SOCRs co-sponsored this meeting with the Acquisition and Collection Development Section at the University of Michigan. Ann Okerson, our co-sponsor Chair, is working on forming a \u201cLibraries as Publishers\u201d special interest group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
