Print 🖨 PDF 📄 eBook 📱

The “Promising Librarian Award” is given to young Malaysian librarians who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in the field of librarianship. This award is intended to honor librarians who, early in their careers, have shown exceptional performance, demonstrating their management abilities and leadership potential.

The following requirements must be met in order for the candidate to be considered for this award: they must have shown excellent work performance in the library, actively promoted the use of libraries and information centers, and been involved in the field of librarianship outside of their duty organization. The candidate must also contribute to efforts to improve the librarianship profession and effectively generate written content that advances the field of librarianship.

We are proud of IFLA School Libraries Section Committee Member, Mayasari Abdul Majid, PhD., for winning this award! Congratulations!
